Menu Menu Bess Winter grew up in Toronto and earned her MFA at Bowling Green State University. Her fiction appears in American Short Fiction, Michigan Quarterly Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, W. W. Norton’s Flash Fiction International, and elsewhere, and has been awarded a Pushcart Prize and the American Short[er] Fiction Prize. She’s just completed her first novel and her PhD at the University of Cincinnati. She currently lives in Chicago.
