Menu Menu is now a graduate student at the University of California Berkeley, where she studies Tlingit art of southeast Alaska. She earned a MFA in writing from West Virginia University and met the love of her life—in Alaska—the summer after this essay was written. her essays appear in Shenandoah, Ballyhoo Stories, Phantasmagoria, and Oregon Quarterly.
