Mark Richard

Mark Richard is the author of the memoir House of Prayer No. 2, the award-winning story collections Charity and The Ice at the Bottom of the World, and the novel Fishboy. His writing has appeared in the New Yorker, Harper’s, Esquire, GQ, and elsewhere. He is the recipient of the PEN/Hemingway Award, a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship, and a Whiting Award. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their three sons.
