Mikhail Iossel

Mikhail Iossel came to the United States from the former Soviet Union in 1986. In 1998, he founded Summer Literary Seminars, one of the world’s largest and most innovative independent international literary programs. He is the author of Every Hunter Wants to Know, a collection of stories, and coeditor of Amerika and It All Depends on Who You Believe, anthologies of contemporary Russian writing. He teaches at Concordia University in Montreal.
