Whitney DeVos

Whitney DeVos is a translator and scholar. She specializes in twentieth and twenty-first century comparative poetics with much of her current work focusing on lenguas originarias, the autochthonous languages of the Americas. She lives in Mexico City, where she is studying Náhuatl with the support of a National Endowment for the Arts translation fellowship and a Global South Translation Fellowship from Cornell University’s Institute for Comparative Modernities.
