Individual Subscriptions

Ecotone subscribers receive the print magazine twice yearly, in spring and fall, as well as access to current and past issues available online. Subscribers may also submit work to the magazine via Submittable, during our open reading periods, without a fee.

If you’d like to send a gift subscription, we’ll be happy to include a personalized card—please note the recipient’s address, and any message for them, in the Notes box on the checkout screen.

Subscriptions received September 1, 2020, and onward will begin with our upcoming Garden Issue. If you’d like yours to begin with the current issue instead, please mention it in the Notes box during checkout.

To gain online access for the time during which you’re subscribed, be sure to create an account at checkout. For best results, after subscribing, log out, clear your browser cache, and log back in. Please note that, due to varying permissions, some content may be available only in print. Issues 25, 26, 27, and 28 will remain free for all to read until the COVID-19 pandemic ends.

If you experience any difficulty in placing your order, please let us know at info@ecotonejournal.com. We’ll be glad to help.

By subscribing to Ecotone, you provide vital support for place-based literature. Thank you!

Individual Subscription Renewals

If youre already a subscriber to the magazine, or if you have subscribed in the past, you can renew your subscription here. We’ll begin your subscription with the upcoming issue unless you are already set to receive it, in which case we’ll extend your subscription by the length you purchased. Thanks for your continued support of Ecotone!
