David Rivard

David Rivard’s new collection, Sugartown, is forthcoming in early 2006 from Graywolf. His previous books include Bewitched Playground and Wise Poison, which won the James Laughlin Prize from the Academy of American Poets in 1996, and was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Award. He teaches at Tufts University and in the MFA in Writing Program at Vermont College, and has had a long association with the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown.
